- If you are ready to take the next step, the NCUA Consumer Assistance Center assists consumers in resolving disputes with credit unions and providing information about federal consumer financial protection and share insurance matters. We have found that complaints can normally be resolved if the complainant works with the credit union directly. As member-owned financial cooperatives, credit unions have a strong interest in resolving disputes with consumers in an appropriate and timely manner.

Appraisal Complaint Form
Use this form if you would like to submit a written complaint that an entity has failed to comply with the appraisal independence standards or Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
The Interagency Appraisal Complaint Form is designed to collect information necessary for NCUA to take further action on a complaint from an appraiser, other individual, financial institution, or other entities. The appropriate regulator will use the information to take further action on the complaint to the extent it relates to an issue within its jurisdiction.
NCUA will forward your complaint to the appropriate regulator if the entity is not within NCUA’s jurisdiction to investigate.
